The Burke Select Basketball program fields summer league teams each year for rising 5th through 8th grade. Our teams participate in local leagues and tournaments which vary by age group and the competitiveness of each team.  The summer league is projected to run from mid June to late July.  League games are typically played Monday through Friday, 1 to 2 games per week.  Tournaments are played on Saturday-Sunday.  Each head coach determines the level of competitive play and training that is best for their team and may begin open gyms and tryouts earlier than usual.  See the tryout section of this website to view the open gym schedule.

We typically open our Summer League pre-registration in April and use the pre-registration list to invite players to open gyms and tryouts. There is no cost to pre-register.
We will hold open gyms in April, tryouts in May and start to practice in June as we prepare for the Summer season.
